Installing A Gate Wheel

Installing a gate caster is similar to installing a gate wheel except it is mounted to the front or rear surface of the gate.

Install your rear track wheels on the rear vertical support of the gate from. If your gate is wooden wheel installation is a fairly simple process. Once again either lever or jack the gate up until it is level and parallel to the ground. It also features a universal mount for wood or metal gates.

The bracket itself is screwed into the back of the gate and the wheel sits just beneath the bottom of the gate. This requires only basic tools and hardware. Ideally you would fit the wheel to the meeting stile the meeting stile being the vertical framework of the gates called meeting stiles in a pair of gates the two meeting stiles come together in the centre of the gate in question.
