Install New Cabinet Door Hinges

Start by placing the hinges on the cabinet where you plan to install them wrapped around the outer edge of the cabinet wall in the open position.

Install new cabinet door hinges.

The hinges should sit flush against the outside and inside of the cabinet. Once the door is installed adjustment screws on the hinge cup move the door up and down and side to side. Tap in the hinges and screw them to the door with the provided screws and then set the door in place on the front of the cabinet level it and mark the holes for the hinge screws. Set a combination square at the 2 inch mark.

With a large cabinet door it may be useful to have a second person to help hold the door and guide it into place. Use a finish nail or an awl to mark the screw locations.
